rechroming.co.uk offer a fast efficient quality controlled service.

Please be aware that most chrome restoration companies use a triple chrome (3 layers of chrome) plating process rechroming.co.uk only ever apply quadruple chrome plating (4 layers of chrome) this enhances both the appearance, durability and longevity of your parts.

The process stages that your parts will go through are:

Stage 1 - Parts are booked in.

Stage 2 - Paint is stripped off.

Stage 3 - All old plating is removed in electric stripper.

Stage 4 - Parts are de-rusted in acid.

Stage 5 - Any repairs required are carried out.

Stage 6 - Components are linished.

Stage 7 - Parts are staple mopped in the polishing department.

Stage 8 - Items are degreased.

Stage 9 - Components are electric cleaned.

Stage 10 - Parts are copper cyanide plated.

Stage 11 - Parts are acid copper plated.

Stage 12 - Parts are bright nickel plated.

Stage 13 - Parts are chrome plated.

Stage 14 - Components are hot soap cleaned.

Stage 15 - Parts are oven dried.

Stage 16 - Goods packed and dispatched.
